General Motors had to fight off Toyota to keep the sales crown of America's first-half automotive deliveries and bar one; all other Asian carmakers thrived in a slow-burning market.
While the second-quarter deliveries only rose by 0.1% according to predictions, Toyota managed to jump no less than 14.3% during the first six months of the year, rocking almost 1.2 million deliveries. American Honda also announced its year-to-date results are positive – up 9.3% to more than 690k units. The Nissan Group came in third among Asian carmakers with almost 490k vehicles.

The latter saw the namesake Nissan brand take the lion's share with more than 461k units (+3%), while Infiniti slumped 13.2% to a little over 28k units. That's probably why the new wave of fresh releases includes the 2025 Infiniti QX80, whereas the Nissan brand only has the new Kicks to speak of. No worries; more goodies are coming from the latter division.

Back in March, the company announced 'The Arc' business plan with short-term goals that are very important for the US automotive market – aside from the recently unveiled Nissan Kicks and Infiniti QX80, the Japanese automaker has confirmed two additional debuts: the all-new Murano and Armada. The latter – also known as Patrol across international markets, is twinned with the all-new QX80, so we're not expecting major surprises.

On the other hand, the Infiniti QX60 and mechanically similar Nissan Pathfinder will be joined by an all-new Nissan Murano sometime this year or early in 2025. The rumor mill has gone berserk over this one as of late, and naturally, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators has followed suit. It's only logical – we've already seen prototypes spied on by our spy photographer partners, with the all-new 2025 Murano looking like the next step in Nissan's design.

Now, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have unofficially imagined the CGI looks of the announced fourth-generation 2025 Nissan Murano, complete with hypothetical looks both inside and outside, a quick comparison to the old generation that's been around since the 2015 model year, and the resident pixel master's usual color reel. As for the specifications, the host speculates that Nissan will drop the 3.5-liter V6 engine and instead focus on an inline-four with turbocharging and possibly a PHEV derivative.

As for the design, it's a big departure from the predecessor's style – at least unofficially, with a front fascia inspired by Nissan's Qashqai treatment in Europe combined with the looks of the fresh Kicks. Inside is a very smooth and minimalist dashboard with both physical and touch buttons, the digital instrument cluster, and the central screen aligned at the same level. So, what do you think – is this the all-new Nissan Murano since most pixel masters agree on these design cues, or is the Japanese automaker reserving us a surprise?
