GRAND RAPIDS-- The 2024 Michigan International Auto Show is happening this weekend at the DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.
Over 30 manufactures, a variety of vintage cars, and luxury vehicles are on display.
When Thomas Burger’s employer, Lafontaine Lincoln, asked for volunteers to work the show, he jumped at the opportunity.
“I like pretty cars,” Burger stated as his reason why.
He fondly remembers coming to the show when was 8 or 9 and is excited to be back as an adult.
Chris and Janelle Hedger have been coming back to the show annually. This year, they brought their daughter Giana. When asked who was the biggest car fan in the family, Janelle pointed to Chris without hesitation.
“We’re doing a little bit of both,” Chris responded to if they were looking to buy or window shopping.
The show is open to the public Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for adults are $12, children ages 6-14 are $5, and kids under 5 are free.
