The long-awaited Detroit Auto Show, formerly known as the North American International Auto Show, is back! From September 13 to September 24, the event will take place at Huntington Place in Detroit, and car enthusiasts couldn’t be more thrilled. The show’s Chairman, Thad Szott, recently announced that the Detroit Big-3 automakers—Ford, General Motors (GM), and Stellantis—are all set to participate and will unveil a total of six vehicles during the Media and Technology Days.

Thad Szott expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled by the tremendous support of our hometown Detroit three in bringing these exciting reveals and their products and vehicle activations to the show. We expect the momentum created by these unveilings to generate outstanding media, consumer attendance, and interest.”

Stellantis in North America, represented by Rick Deneau, the Head of Product and Brand Communications, is equally eager for the Detroit Auto Show. Deneau said, “It’s the Detroit show, which makes it especially exciting to offer consumers the opportunity to go for a ride in our Jeep and Ram vehicles on our specialized test tracks, as well as check out all the latest offerings from the rest of our North American brands. We also greatly look forward to showcasing new Ram and Jeep vehicles there for the first time, here in our hometown.”

Rumors are swirling about the unveils, with Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram potentially introducing new production-ready electrified vehicles at the event. One of the most anticipated reveals is the all-new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona, set to be produced across the Detroit River in Windsor.

Another major unveiling might be the upcoming 2025 Ram 1500 XR, an electrified pickup offering extended range capabilities. The truck will feature dual electric motors, with a standard gasoline engine acting as a generator to ensure continued functionality when the battery runs low. The Ram 1500 XR will join the REV electric truck in production, solidifying Detroit’s position as a hub for eco-friendly automotive advancements.

Jeep could also showcase its new yet-to-be-named Wagoneer S and Recon electric vehicles at the show, promising further excitement for attendees.

The event schedule is as follows:

  • Media Day: Wednesday, Sept. 13
  • Technology Days and AutoMobili-D: Wednesday, Sept. 13, and Thursday, Sept. 14
  • Mobility Global Forum: Wednesday, Sept. 13, and Thursday, Sept. 14
  • Charity Preview: Friday, Sept. 15
  • Public Show: Saturday, Sept. 16, through Sunday, Sept. 24
