The 2023 Lehigh Valley Auto Show opened Wednesday at Lehigh University’s Murray H. Goodman Campus in Bethlehem, featuring 145,000 square feet of the latest in cars, trucks, crossovers, SUVs, trucks and customization.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association event in its 24th year continues until 8 p.m. Wednesday with first responders, medical personnel and veterans receiving free admission. It resumes 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and wraps up 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $9.99 for adults, $7.99 for ages 55 and older and 6-14, and free for children 5 and younger. Tickets may purchased online at glvada.org or at the gate. Cash or card are accepted on-site, but visitors paying cash are discouraged from needing change. Parking is free.

The show is spread among four venues: the Stabler Athletic and Convocation Center, Rauch Fieldhouse, a Custom/Tuner Pavilion that is new for 2023 and Goodman Hall.

Highlights for this year’s show include a racing simulator available 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; Lehigh Valley Phantoms players and their mascot on hand Thursday; performances by the O’Grady Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance on Friday; and a visit by Miss Pennsylvania Alysa Bainbridge and Miss Outstanding Teen on Saturday.

The Lehigh Valley Auto Show is built for the consumer, to inspect all angles of the vehicle’s interior and exterior in a pressure-free environment. Product specialists at each manufacturer space are available to answer questions about the vehicles.

“This will be an amazing show for all, whether you are a car enthusiast or just browsing or here to make a buying decision,” stated Dan Moyer, executive director of the auto dealers association.

In 2022, the auto dealers association and its members combined to give back over $1.1 million to organizations in the Lehigh Valley, according to a news release from the association.

Volunteers are needed to staff this year’s show. Volunteers will have four-hour shifts and receive a free T-shirt. To volunteer, contact Dan Moyer at dmoyer2@ptd.net or call 610-972-5496.
