The Radical Pan in looks alone lives up to its name. At first glance, you'll notice the side of the Radical Pan opposite the handle is about twice as high. This is to facilitate flipping foods.
The unique pan features an anodized aluminum core and a chemical-free nonstick coating. It can be used on gas, induction and electric ranges and is oven safe to 500 degrees. And the handle stays cooler than other pans.
In a departure from regular nonstick pans, the manufacturer recommends seasoning the Radical Pan by applying a thin layer of oil to fill any pores in the surface and heating it over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes and then wiping away any excess oil with a paper towel. After seasoning, it'll wipe clean with a paper towel after most uses.
I still haven't perfected the shake and flip, but this skillet is quickly becoming my go-to. I love the heft of this pan — the 10-inch pan weighs in at 2.25 pounds — and that it is dishwasher safe.
